AUDITIONS: Scenes & Screens 2026

This fun, creative community event is a unique opportunity for adults (ages 18+) to participate in live theatrical scenes, short films, and groups of singers and/or dancers, all working toward a one-night performance. We've got an awesome lineup of original scripts ready for you to take your spot within the casts!

AUDITIONS will be held IN-PERSON Thursday, July 9 at Gateway Church NRH Campus, from 6:30-9:30 PM. If you cannot make that evening, an audition video will be required by the same date (email us for details).

REHEARSALS begin Sunday, July 12 and will generally be Sunday afternoons and Tuesday/Thursday evenings through August 2 (no rehearsal July 21), in both North Richland Hills and Grapevine/Southlake. Each four-hour rehearsal block will be divided in two, "Block 1" and "Block 2." So your assigned scene will actually only rehearse for two hours rather than four. Film actors may have a different schedule. A limited number of schedule conflicts may be workable. You will have opportunity to note your conflicts in the audition form.

The PERFORMANCE will take place in the Performing Arts Center at Fort Worth Christian School on Friday, August 7, with mandatory technical rehearsals the evenings of Aug 5 & 6 for those in live (non-film) performances.

This opportunity is free for performers (no tuition fee), and we will endeavor to find a spot for everyone who auditions.
